About
Back in the Spring of 2003, a most brilliant and beautiful young lady accepted my proposal of marriage (despite her better judgement). And boy, did she ever underestimate what she was in for. Since then we’ve welcomed into our family four of the most loving and impatient children North of Antartica. Brynlie Boo is 6 going on 18. Bubba is 4 and one tantrum away from spontaneous cumbustion. Then we have Mr. Daner Doos, the missing link between flying squirrels and human kind. And hitting clean-up, Baby Landyn reminds us of just how precious life can be. We love our chaos. It keeps us young.
At some point in all that mess (see above), I decided to become a teacher. I currently teach half of the school day in my Fifth Grade classroom, and spend the second half as an Instructional Technology Coach, working in other classrooms with teachers and students (and actually doing some pretty amazing things).
I’m not an expert at parenting, nor am I an authority on education. I may write stories, express my views, share experiences, and offer suggestions, but at no point will any of them represent the thoughts and stance of my school or school district. This is my writing, unless otherwise attributed.
So as you read through my musing and meandering, please comment, share, push back, or disagree. I don’t expect this to be an echo chamber, but I do hope for it to be a way to dialogue and learn from each other. Oh, and please feel free to borrow anything you read or see on here. Just make sure to give credit to where credit is due. Cheers.

It’s looking good! Congrats – You’re on your way.
