Presentations
I have had a handful of opportunities to share some of my learning with other educators from around the State of Oregon. Below are what I’ve had a chance to share and the resources used. Happy browsing. Cheers.
FAV-8 Web 2.0 Tools
There are so many educators that have taken to a lot of these engaging and meaningful tools. Not surprisingly though, there are even more that have not. This session allowed me to introduce some popular and some less known Web 2.0 tools to all levels of EdTech educators.

FAV-8 Browser Extensions
In this session I worked with a small group of educators on finding ways to be more productive in the classroom and while working. Browser extensions and add-ons allow for quick access to information, feeds, and social media.

Blogs as ePortfolios
Based on information shared by Jeff Utecht, of the International School of Bangkok, at ITSC 2011 in Portland, OR, participants got a quick look into the world of blogging. Those who attended discussed the implications of blogging in the classroom and how students can use this medium for sharing and archiving their learning. We even got to play a little with WordPress and BuddyPress.

This was a special experience that was created by a perfect storm. I was fortunate enough to be given a stage to share it. Also see my post and follow up to it all.
